7. Promote scientific research as well as the hasty import of new therapeutic methods in our country
8. Organise interventions in the field of institutions of State that modulates the economic policy and the policy in the sector of head

The Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2007 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The federation consists of 39 linked Associations of Alzheimer’s disease all over Greece. Its main objective is the coordination and cooperation of member companies in the context of social contribution and awareness of the needs of patients with dementia and their caregivers.

The federation is a member of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) and collaborates with other organizations such as the Panhellenic Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases and the Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders.

The federation’s mission is to create structures, services, and conditions that improve the quality of life of patients and their carers. This includes the promotion of research, education, and training for all stakeholders, the provision of useful information and advice on dementia problems, and the prevention of the marginalization of people with dementia.
